Austin Aikikai is happy to announce the next beginner’s class starting in September.  The  program meets Monday and Thurday nights from 7 to 8.  Fees for the program are $120 without a gi and $140 with a gi.   Anyone interested in attending should contact the Dojo at (512) 850-5424 or come by and visit before or after a regular class.

One day workshop on Shinkage Ryu and Zen from the teaching of Takuan Soho Zenji and Yagyu masters (includes zazen/practice/discussion.  Please check back or email us with your interest.

The seminar will be held at the Ocean Sky Hotel and Resort, 4060 Galt Ocean Drive in Fort Lauderdale. Seminar classes will be held in the newly renovated 5000 sq. ft. ballroom, with 15 foot ceilings and new AC. Weapons classes will be held on the spacious pool deck overlooking the ocean.

The Winter Seminar is happy to host inside and outside classes taught by feature shihan all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday, a new dojo health and safety class, a meet and greet session with the USAF Technical Committee and Board of Governors, a dinner party, and a dance with live music. Dan testing will be held Saturday afternoon. Meetings will be scheduled for the USAF Board of Governors and Technical Committee.

All Ocean Sky hotel rooms include balconies with an ocean view, cable TV, refrigerators, microwaves and free wireless internet access throughout the building and pool area. The restaurant offers a full breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. The beach front pool area highligths an outside tiki bar and giant jacuzzi.
